2010 EVENTS // TAMESIDE TRIATHLON

TAMESIDE XL TRIATHLON
Sunday 3rd October // The Copley Centre, Stalybridge, Cheshire (CLOSING DATE Friday 24th SEPTEMBER - Entry on the day if places available)

Sprint // Swim 500m, MTB 13.2km, Run: 8.8km

*Relay Race // Swim 750m, MTB 13.2km, Run 8.8km

*3-person relay teams welcome – One swimmer, cyclist, runner

IMPORTANT= FLEX members (Tameside residents)

Individuals will be charged a discounted rate of £20 for race entry. Pay full amount on-line and cash-backs will be provided to you at race registration on the day

Hold onto your hats, the raw, exciting Tameside XL is back! Following the success of last years Tameside XL Triathlon Uberfit Events are very excited to be bringing you this autumn triathlon experience for the second year running. Crown your race season and complete this epic challenge.

Competitors will complete a pool swim, a thrilling bike with massive ascent / descent on a mixture of road, trail and bridleway followed by a stiff circular trot around Harridge Pike. This is the wildside of Tameside rarely seen and so accessible from the Manchester metropolis. Last years event attracted widespread acclaim for the excitement of its bike and run courses and is expected to sell out in 2010. Four person relay teams are especially welcome in this challenging event which is destined to become a classic of its type
