Supersprint – Swim (pool) 250m, Bike: 15km, Run: 2.5km

Sprint - Swim 500m, Bike: 24km, Run: 5km

FIRSTLY, a huge well done to all the

competitors in the 2010 Pink Womens race at Lymm. 103 of you braved horrendous winds, rain showers and a tough course to complete the race. The organisation was not without difficulties in that our promised marshal team didn’t materialise on the day which put pressure on the run course lay out. Apologies if this caused you any undue stress / frustration! Many of you, however, have have been in touch to say how much you enjoyed it, in spite of the Northern downpour, so many thanks for your kind feedback.

The run course itself was changed slightly on the advice of the local landowner and that increased its length for one lap to 3km so an extra well done to all for running further than you had expected!

The main reason for running the event, of course, was to help raise awareness of the Genesis Appeal in the prevention of breast cancer and, it seems, that with your generosity, we raised up to £500 towards their great cause though still counting!.

Note that the results are provisional for one week to allow appeals after which they become finalised and the local hero prizes handed out.
