No registration fees! Parking. 2hours plus water time. Quality coaching. Accurate GPS measured 400/750m courses. Friendly, informal, and supportive staff.  Whether you’re training for a Great Swim, the English Channel or a triathlon these sessions offer the perfect training venue for you.

 

Training and development

Our expert ASA qualified coaches include experienced long distance swimmers (completed English Channel swims) with the skill and experience to help you develop your confidence and skills.

Sessions cater for all swimmers / triathletes from novice to elite with training sets provided if required. Think of it as a pool training session under a clear blue sky.

 

Dock 9 (the big one next to the Lowry) - STARTING SOON!

Our 2010 sessions at the fantastic Dock 9, Salford, are planned to run on Saturday mornings 8.30-11.00am. WATCH THIS SPACE FOR OUR START DATE. This venue hosted the 2002 Commonwealth Games / Salford Triathlons and will offer a high quality training and development environment for novices to elite.

 

Boundary Water Park

The popular sessions restarted on Thursday 6th May and will run every Thursday night until mid September. Times of the sessions are from 6.00pm until dark. Boundary, venue of Manchester Triathlon Clubs’ Boundary Breeze, is conveniently located near to the motorway network in South Manchester (CW4 8HT) six miles south of Knutsford on the A50 close to Junction 18 of the M6

What next…

Turn up when you can (starts at 6.00pm), complete a registration form then leap in. The friendly, supportive atmosphere is perfect for people developing their water confidence and the safe, shallow, warm lake (13degrees, May 6th warming up to 24degrees in the Summer) is an ideal training venue for the first timer.

 

Trial a 2XU wetsuit!
We also provide a range of 2XU wetsuits for hire at the swims. This is an opportunity to test a quality suit feels in cold water and check the difference it makes. Hire cost is £5.00 per session.

 

At our Uswim venues there is swim coaching, changing, car parking, wetsuit hire and hot refreshments.

Cost is £5.00 per session with discounts for multiple tickets.
