If you haven’t already been down then come along and swim what you’ve been missing! Over three hundred people have already taken part in the coached open water training sessions that are located in a beautiful shallow (and therefore warm?) lake conveniently located next to the motorway network and about 15miles from Manchester.

Coach David Quartermain, Head Swim Coach at Manchester Triathlon Club and experienced long distance swimmer (see profile below) heads up the swims which are suitable for all standards from first timer to pro and are geared to giving aquamaniacs invaluable open water experience in he lead up to triathlons, Channel swims etc.

Our primary aim is to help you develop an effective open water swim technique (different from indoors!)

You’ll be swimming on a marked and measured course with hot refreshments available post-swim and regular events to hone toyr fitness.

Cost of each session is £4.00 (no registration fee)
