RUN

Running, well it's easy isn't it, just one foot in front of the other?


Well, yes and no really. There are some formal approaches to running technique similar in ethos to those you'll find in swimming. POSE is one such method and the approach taken by the Chi Running book is another (closely related) methodology.

A typical run training schedule is made up of 2 sessions. One long run at the weekend and a short either tempo or interval session during the week. In the winter long run are usually done at a conversational effort all the way.
